No one goes fishing on a spot with no fish,so why should you place your ad just anywhere?


I was impessed with 'Weichai' the manufacturer of engines and industrial material-handling equipment like the ones pictured above clever 'ad like placement' of their equipment yesterday while driving home


I am not into engineering but i had to google the names of the equipments displayed along Bagamoyo road(Fork lift and Scissor lift) proving the efficacy of the display


What struck me was how cleverly they demonstrated the use for their scissor lift by placing it right next to the electric pole,this is far more effective than even renting billboard space!


It reminded me that advertising has to stimulate sensory organs such is visual,smell,taste etc for it to be successfull no matter how much you think the user is familiar with your product,just like the below clever 'scracth & sniff' billboard campaign by Lynx
